Pistorius announced transfer of German military under NATO command in 2025

Most of Germany's military will come under NATO command in 2025 – as stated by German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, RIA Novosti reports

At the Johns Hopkins University event, Mr. Pistorius said, “The safety of our allies is our safety. Therefore, starting from next year, most of our military will come under the command of NATO. About 35 thousand of them will have two higher levels of readiness.”
