N. Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspected test-firing of multiple rocket launchers

On April 25th, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspected the test-firing of 240mm multiple rocket launchers manufactured by a newly created defence industry unit, Reuters reports

The report by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) does not provide detailed information about the unit that produced the artillery.

“The test firing showed the rockets met the required standards for flight characteristics and accuracy,” KCNA stated.

According to Kim Jong Un, the 240mm multiple launch rocket system, which incorporates new technologies, ‘will make strategic changes to strengthen the artillery capability of the armed forces’.
