Jubilee medal dedicated to 30th anniversary of President’s Security Service established in Belarus

On April 30th, Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 183 on the establishment of a jubilee medal, marking the 30th anniversary of the Security Service of the President of the Republic of Belarus, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

The document also approved the regulations on the jubilee medal, its description and a sample certificate for it.

A heraldic sign – the Security Service emblem – is depicted in the centre on the front side, with years – 1994 and 2024 – being portrayed in the medal's lower part. The reverse side has a wreath of laurel and oak leaves, wrapped with a ribbon at its base, and the inscription in the Belarusian language translated as 30 Years of the Security Service of the President of the Republic of Belarus.

The jubilee medal will be awarded to military and civilian personnel of the Security Service for exemplary performance of official duties, as well as its veterans and other persons, including foreigners, for their significant contribution to the development and improvement of activities in the field of state protection, the organisation of interaction between government agencies and other structures with the Security Service.
