Tajikistan will welcome Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus in May – as informed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus, Bakhtovar Safarzoda, at a solemn event in the Belarusian Philharmonics on the occasion of the international holiday of Navruz, BelTA reports
The ensemble of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan brilliantly performed on the stage of the Belarusian Philharmonics, and the festive concert programme was warmly welcomed by the Belarusian audience.
“This is just the first step towards an even larger cultural exchange, and this concert of the pop ensemble will give an additional impetus to the organisation of a full-fledged symphony orchestra performance for the Belarusian public in the near future,” Bakhtovar Safarzoda said.
The diplomat continued, “In this context, it should be noted that, already in May, the Tajik land will welcome Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus. This mutual cultural exchange, initiated this year by the concert of the pop ensemble in Minsk, will become a powerful new impetus for strengthening close friendly ties between our peoples."
"Such cultural bridges not only bring our countries closer together, but also open up new horizons for deepening mutually beneficial co-operation for the prosperity of both Tajikistan and Belarus," Bakhtovar Safarzoda added.
